The company principally holds 100% interest in the Beaver Dam gold property comprising 36 contiguous mineral exploration claims and covering approximately 583 hectares of surface area in Halifax County, Nova Scotia; and the Fifteen Mile Stream gold property consisting of 3 mineral licenses located in the eastern Halifax County in central Nova Scotia. It also holds interests in the mineral claims on the Fifteen Mile Stream trend covering approximately 39,000 hectares and 115 kilometers of the trend; and owns barite properties on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. The company was formerly known as Acadian Gold Corporation and changed its name to Acadian Mining Corporation in June 2007. The company was incorporated in 2000 and is based in Cooks Brook, Canada. Acadian Mining Corporation is a subsidiary of Golden River Resources Corporation.
