Company Description
AQM Copper Inc., an exploration stage company, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of base metal deposits in South America. It primarily focuses on developing copper properties in Chile and Peru. The company principally, through a 50/50 joint venture with Teck Resources Limited, develops the Zafranal copper-gold porphyry project covering an area of approximately 25,000 hectares of mining concessions in southern Peru. The company was formerly known as Apoquindo Minerals Inc. and changed its name to AQM Copper Inc. on June 10, 2010. AQM Copper Inc. was incorporated in 2005 and is based in Vancouver, Canada.
