Canadian Royalties, Inc. engages in the exploration and development of mineral properties in Canada. It explores for magmatic sulphide-related nickel-copper-cobalt-platinum-palladium-gold minerals in the Raglan area of the Province of Québec. The company has property interests in five primary regions: the Raglan South Trend Nickel Belt in Nunavik, northern Québec; the southern Nunavik in central Québec; the Abitibi Greenstone Belt in Québec and Ontario; the James Bay Region in northern Québec; and the Thompson Nickel Belt in Manitoba. As at December 31, 2005, it had direct royalty and property interests in approximately 218 mineral properties encompassing approximately 2,735 square kilometers for various commodities, including nickelcopper-platinum-palladium and other base metals covering 1853 square kilometers; gold covering 386 square kilometers; uranium covering 111 square kilometers; and diamonds covering 385 square kilometers. The company was founded in 1986 and is based in Val-d'Or, Canada.
