Champion Minerals Inc., an exploration stage company, engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral resource properties, primarily iron ore deposits in north-eastern Québec, and Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada. The company, through a joint venture, holds an 82.5% interest in the Fermont Property Holdings that includes 17 iron properties covering an area of 664.24 square kilometers in the Fermont iron ore district in north-eastern Quebec. It also holds interests in the Attikamagen iron property covering an area of 946 mineral claims comprising 310.7 square kilometers in the Schefferville region of north-eastern Quebec and western Labrador; and the Powderhorn Lake property, which consists of 115 claims covering an area of 29 square kilometers in the Buchans-Robert\'s Arm Belt in central Newfoundland. In addition, the company has an option to acquire an 85% interest in the Gullbridge base metals property covering 204 claims with an area of 45 square kilometers in the Buchans-Robert\'s Arm Belt in central Newfoundland. Champion Minerals Inc. was founded in 1985 and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
