Cooper Minerals Inc. has an option agreement for a 60 per-cent interest in certain thermal coal properties (the “Property”) located in Pakistan. The Property consists of 2,230 acres of land and an application for additional 200 sq kms for exploration and production of coal located within the Navel & Planna Village, and Karjai Village, Tehsil and District Kotli, State of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Pakistan. Cooper Mineralsare acquired two uranium properties in the country of Niger in west Africa. Niger is the 6th largest uranium producing country in the world and it hosts two of the world’s ten largest uranium mines. The company was formerly known as JNB Developments Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Cooper Minerals, Inc. in 2004. Cooper Minerals is based in Vancouver, Canada.
