Forum Uranium Corp. is an energy company that engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of uranium projects in Canada. The company has a 100% interest in approximately 165,000 hectares of uranium exploration properties and a 65% interest in the Costigan Lake Joint Venture located in the prolific Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan. Its properties include Maurice Point project, which is located in the northwest margin of the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan; Key Lake Road project, which is located in northern Saskatchewan; and Merritt Coalbed Methane project, located 250 kilometers east of Vancouver, British Columbia. The company also has a 40% interest in the Lignite syndicate in British Columbia. It has strategic alliance with Superior Diamonds, Inc. to explore for uranium in the Thelon Basin over a large area west of Baker Lake, Nunavut Territory. The company was formerly known as Etana Technologies Corp. and changed its name to Techtana Capital, Ltd. in July 1991. Further, the company changed its name to Forum Ventures, Ltd. in December 1995; then to Forum Development Corp. in October 2001; and then to Forum Uranium Corp. in June 2006. The company was incorporated in 1986 and is based in Vancouver, Canada.
