Company Description

International Minerals Corporation, through its subsidiaries, engages in the exploration, development, and exploitation of gold and silver properties in South America and the United States. The company principally holds a 40% interest in the Pallancata silver mine in southern Peru; 100% interest in the Rio Blanco gold-silver property in Ecuador; and 40% interest in the Inmaculada gold-silver property in southern Peru, as well as varying 50-100% interests in the mineral concessions comprising the Gaby gold property in Ecuador. It also owns 100% interests in the Goldfield gold property in south-central Nevada; and in the Converse gold property in north-central Nevada. The company was formerly known as Ecuadorian Minerals Corporation and changed its name to International Minerals Corporation in January 2002. International Minerals Corporation was founded in 1986 and is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
