Ivanplats Limited (Ivanplats), formerly Ivanhoe Nickel & Platinum Ltd., is a mineral exploration and development company, whose properties are located in Africa. As of October 16, 2012, Ivanplats had three assets: Kamoa Project, Platreef Project and Kipushi Project. The Kamoa Project consists of copper deposit with adjacent exploration areas, located within the Central African Copperbelt in Katanga Province, and it owns a 95% interest in the Kamoa Project. Its 90% owned, the Platreef Project, includes underground deposit of platinum group elements (PGE)-nickel-copper-gold mineralization, in the northern limb of the Bushveld Complex, located approximately 280 kilometers northeast of Johannesburg, South Africa. The Kipushi Project is a past-producing, high-grade underground zinc-copper mine in the Central African Copperbelt, in Katanga Province, DRC. The company's stock trades in Canada on the TSX under the symbol IVP.
