The company was formerly known as NuStar Mining Corporation Limited and changed its name to Intrepid Mines Limited as result of a merger with Intrepid Minerals Corporation in July 2006. Intrepid Minerals Limited was incorporated in 1993 and is based in Spring Hill, Australia.
