Anglo American Platinum Limited (Amplats) is the leading primary producer of platinum group metals (PGMs) in the world and accounts for about 40% of annual newly mined platinum. It also produces other PGMs including palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, iridium and osmium. Nickel, copper, other base metals and gold are also produced. The Company is listed on the JSE in South Africa and in the U.S. on the OTC.
