Company Description

Denison Mines Corp., through its subsidiaries, engages in the exploration and development of uranium in the United States, Canada, and Mongolia. It also recycles uranium-bearing waste materials for the recovery of uranium. The company primarily offers uranium, vanadium, and other metals as a co-product. International Uranium has interests in Arizona Strip uranium properties in north central Arizona; the Colorado Plateau uranium properties in the southwestern Colorado and Utah border; and the Henry Mountains uranium complex in south central Utah, the United States. The company's properties in Canada include a 75% interest in the Moore Lake uranium exploration property; and options to earn a 75% interest in the Lazy Edward Bay uranium exploration property, a 75% interest in the Crawford Lake and Brown Lake exploration projects, a 75% interest in the Kelic Lake, and Pendleton Lake and Cigar South uranium exploration properties, as well as a 51% interest in the North Wedge uranium exploration property and Huard-Kirsch Lake uranium exploration property. The company also has a 70% interest in the Gurvan Saihan Joint Venture; and nine exploration licenses, as well as an option to earn a 65% interest in 32 uranium exploration licenses in Mongolia. The company was incorporated in 1997 as International Uranium Corporation and changed its name to Denison Mines Corp. in December 2006. It is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
