Its flagship project is the 100% owned Muchea West Silica Sand project which consist of granted exploration licence and a mining licence application covering approximately a land area of 102 square kilometre located to the north of Perth; and the Down South Silica Sand Project consisting of three granted exploration licences which covers approximately 5,800 hectares located in the southeast of Bunbury. Carbine Resources Limited was incorporated in 2006 and is based in Subiaco, Australia.
