Harvest Gold Corporation (TSXV: HVG) has announced the resumption of diamond drilling at its Mosseau property, located in Quebec’s Abitibi region within the Urban Barry Belt. The company confirmed that drilling activities are set to restart in the largely underexplored central portion of the property following the issuance of delayed exploration permits.

According to President and CEO Rick Mark, preparations are already underway in the central area, where roads are being cut through heavily wooded terrain that has seen little prior exploration. “The core drill is on its way and drilling is expected to begin tomorrow,” Mark said, emphasizing that the upcoming targets are situated in a new area on the eastern side of the Kiask River Mineralized Corridor, which has not yet been drilled.

Central Area Drilling Program

The company reported that the central portion of Mosseau has historically received less exploration attention and lacked basic infrastructure, such as access roads. Harvest Gold recently received its ATI (Authorization for Impact-Causing Exploration) permits, which had been delayed by nearly ten days.

With the permits now in place, the company is proceeding with the preparation of new drill access roads and construction of drill pads. Harvest Gold’s contract drilling partner, Forage Rouillier, has mobilized a flatbed truck to transport the drill rig to the first target site. Approximately 2,800 metres of the company’s ongoing 5,000-metre drill program have been allocated to this central section of Mosseau.

Assay Results and Lab Delays

Harvest Gold also provided an update on assay results from its earlier drilling in the northern area of the property. The company said that results have taken longer than anticipated to process due to seasonal backlogs at assay laboratories. As Quebec’s summer field season concludes, labs are handling a surge in samples from prospecting, soil, and drill programs. The first results from the northern holes are expected to be released shortly.

Fall 2025 Fieldwork and Sampling

In addition to drilling activities, the company’s fall exploration program continues across multiple project areas. IOS Geosciences has completed prospecting and mapping work in the southern part of Mosseau as well as at the Labelle property. Four field crews are now conducting soil sampling in these areas, and this phase of the program is expected to conclude by the end of the week.

Property Overview and Regional Context

Harvest Gold’s exploration efforts are centered on the Mosseau property, its flagship asset in the Urban Barry region of Quebec. The company holds three active gold projects in the area — Mosseau, Urban-Barry, and LaBelle — covering a total of 377 claims over 20,016.87 hectares. These properties collectively span more than 50 kilometres of favorable strike length along mineralized shear zones and are located approximately 45 to 70 kilometres west of Gold Fields Limited’s Windfall deposit.

The company also noted that the Mosseau Gold Project lies across the Eeyou Istchee-James Bay and Abitibi territories. Harvest Gold reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining respectful and transparent relationships with local Indigenous communities as exploration progresses.

Harvest Gold Corporation (TSXV: HVG) has completed additional drilling at its Mosseau property in Quebec’s Abitibi region and outlined details of a new exploration campaign that will commence later this fall. The company also confirmed a temporary pause in its ongoing drill program to observe local cultural and environmental considerations.

Drilling Progress at Mosseau

In its latest update, Harvest Gold reported the completion of three additional drill holes totaling 654 metres in the central portion of the Mosseau property. To date, the company has drilled 14 holes for a cumulative total of 3,030 metres. The most recent holes targeted an area where previous prospecting and diamond drilling suggested significant potential for gold mineralization continuity.

Samples from these new holes are being sent for laboratory analysis as they are logged. Assay results from the initial drill holes are expected to be released within the coming weeks.

Harvest Gold has paused its drilling activities at Mosseau in recognition of several events observed locally, including the First Nations Cultural Week, Canada’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, and the fall hunting season.

Company President and CEO Rick Mark said that the decision reflects the company’s commitment to responsible and respectful development practices. “Harvest Gold is dedicated to advancing the Mosseau Project in a manner that is respectful of Indigenous traditions and community activities,” Mark said. “Temporarily halting our drill program at this time reflects our commitment to working collaboratively with our partners and shareholders.”

The Mosseau property is situated across both the Eeyou Istchee–James Bay and Abitibi territories and falls within Quebec hunting zones 13 and 16. With hunting season running from September 27 to October 26, the company expects to resume drilling operations in the central part of the property once the season concludes.

Fall 2025 Exploration Plans

Following the pause in drilling, Harvest Gold plans to begin its fall field exploration program, which will be conducted by IOS Geosciences of Chicoutimi, Quebec. The program will cover areas of both the Mosseau and the 100%-owned LaBelle properties.

The fieldwork is scheduled to begin on October 27 and will include soil sampling, mapping, and prospecting activities aimed at expanding geological knowledge and refining drill targets for upcoming campaigns.

The soil sampling component will involve the collection of more than 1,000 samples. Sampling lines will be spaced 200 metres apart and oriented perpendicular to the region’s known ice-flow direction, with samples taken every 25 metres along each line.

In addition to soil sampling, the company plans to carry out prospecting and geological mapping in underexplored areas of the Mosseau and LaBelle properties. This effort will build on recent high-resolution magnetic survey results and contribute to the identification of new targets for future drilling.

The Mosseau property is Harvest Gold’s flagship asset and forms part of its broader exploration portfolio in Quebec’s Urban Barry Belt. The company currently controls three projects in the area — Mosseau, Urban-Barry, and LaBelle — together comprising 377 claims over a total area of 20,016.87 hectares. These properties span more than 50 kilometres of favorable strike along mineralized shear zones and are located approximately 45 to 70 kilometres west of Gold Fields Limited’s Windfall deposit.

Harvest Gold has also reiterated its intention to maintain positive and transparent relationships with Indigenous communities in the region. The company acknowledges that the Mosseau property lies within both the Eeyou Istchee–James Bay and Abitibi territories and has emphasized that its exploration programs are being advanced with a focus on respect, collaboration, and open communication.

Harvest Gold (TSXV: HVG) has released a detailed update on its ongoing exploration activities, confirming significant progress on two of its key gold projects in Quebec. According to the company, its diamond drilling campaign at the Mosseau Gold Project is proceeding as scheduled, while a regional till sampling program at its Urban-Barry property has been completed ahead of time and under budget.

Mosseau Drill Program Advances in Northern Corridor

The company announced that five diamond drill holes have been successfully completed at the Mosseau Gold Project. Drilling is taking place in the northern section of the property, an area characterized by historical gold showings and favorable geological conditions. This segment of the mineralized corridor is a central focus of the current exploration effort, aimed at identifying new mineralized zones and expanding the known footprint of gold occurrences.

Harvest Gold stated that drilling operations are on schedule and on budget. The company highlighted the performance of its contractors, citing steady drilling progress by Forage Rouillier and technical support from Explo-Logik. The latter is responsible for field logistics, core logging, and drill core sampling. According to the update, all operational protocols are being followed, and daily progress reports are being submitted to the company’s management team to ensure safety and efficiency throughout the project.

No analytical or assay results from the completed drill holes were disclosed as part of this update. These results are expected to play a critical role in determining future exploration decisions and delineating potential mineralized zones within the property.

Urban-Barry Till Sampling Program Completed

In addition to developments at Mosseau, Harvest Gold confirmed the successful completion of its regional till sampling program at the Urban-Barry property. The purpose of this geochemical survey was to identify new exploration vectors that could signal the presence of gold mineralization below surface.

The sampling campaign was originally designed to include 145 sample sites distributed along a grid system. Sampling lines were oriented in a northwest-southeast direction and spaced roughly 1,000 to 1,500 metres apart. Individual sampling locations were positioned approximately every 250 metres along each line. In total, 137 usable till samples were collected.

According to the company, the majority of samples were taken from depths exceeding one metre, in an effort to reach the lodgment till layer. Lodgment till is a type of glacial deposit that is considered significant for geochemical exploration due to its higher likelihood of containing material derived from nearby mineralized sources. Each collected sample weighed approximately 10 kilograms and was manually gathered to avoid contamination from larger debris like cobbles and pebbles.

Harvest Gold has not yet released geochemical assay results from the till survey but indicated that the data will be used to define and prioritize exploration targets across the broader Urban-Barry project area.

Company’s Regional Exploration Portfolio
