Tintina Resources Inc. engages in the acquisition, exploration, development, and mining of precious and base metal properties primarily on the Tintina gold belt region in Alaska, the United States. It principally explores for gold, copper, iron, and cobalt ores. The company's primary projects include the Colorado Creek gold property that comprises 26,880 acres in 273 Alaska state mining claims and is located to the northwest of McGrath, Alaska; the Kugruk copper-iron-gold property, which consists of 177,280 acres in 1,117 Alaska state mining claims, located to the south of Kotzebue in the low tundra of the northern Seward Peninsula; and the Sheep Creek copper-cobalt property that comprises approximately 4,714 acres of land located to the north of the community of White Sulphur Springs in central Montana. It also has interest in the Baird property, which consists of 58,640 acres in 371 Alaska state mining claims and is located in arctic Alaska in the Baird Mountains. The company was formerly known as TintinaGold Resources Inc. and changed its name to Tintina Resources Inc. on May 25, 2011. Tintina Resources Inc. was incorporated in 1998 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
